The average length of service for our employees is over five years. That says a lot – not only about Acorn, but about the dedication of the employees who have joined our team.

All Acorn employees receive ongoing training, with opportunities to learn our trade from the very beginning, and advance through the ranks. We try to promote from within whenever possible.

New employees, regardless of level of experience, are placed with a more senior team member, working side-by-side until the new hire is completely trained in both the trade and the Acorn culture.

We also offer advanced training in many areas of the mechanical construction business, including estimating, bidding strategy, purchasing, and project management!

Our wide variety of safety training includes:  OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 Hour courses, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) training, and job specific training for hazards that may be limited to a single site.
