Acorn becomes newest member of the Comfort Systems USA Team

Raleigh mechanical construction company, Acorn Industrial, has been acquired by Comfort Systems USA Inc., a publicly traded company based in Houston. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Acorn Adopts a Family for Holiday

In 2008, Acorn began what it intends to be an annual event: adopting a family in need for Christmas. In 2009, the Acorn family tradition continued with the "adoption" of a single mother and five small children, who had been living at a local rescue mission for some time after a difficult home situation.

Acorn Industrial recently held its “First Annual Safety Fair.” Richard Twine, Safety Manager for Acorn Industrial organized the event in which fall protection and other training were presented.
